Co-Curricular and Social Experience

FSI provides many occasions for students to explore the seemingly boundless number of resources and opportunities at Princeton. The early opportunity to engage with these resources allows our scholars to get a head start on defining their own educational path and developing as future campus leaders.  During the summer, scholars will gain experience through the following virtual opportunities at Princeton:

  • Meet and Greets with Campus Partners
  • Workshops covering topics around:
    • Health and Wellness
    • Academic Skills
    • Life Skills
    • Professional Development
    • Social Skills and Events

Our social programming includes a variety of health, wellness, and community-building activities. These programs are led by our team of undergraduate and graduate student workers who serve as VCAs and RGSs and include, but are not limited to:

  • Wellness Challenges
  • Game & Movie Nights
  • Fitness Activities
  • Karaoke

Early Arrival to Campus

In addition to the virtual 7-week program, FSI Online scholars come to campus early for a 4-day residential pre-orientation program, which runs from August 19th -August 22nd. FSI Online students will move in on August 19th to get a head-start on campus life. This pre-orientation session will include workshops designed to familiarize you with campus and academic life, meetings with mentorship groups, community social events, meet-and-greets with campus resources, and your final course presentation/symposium. Attendance at this pre-orientation is mandatory for all FSI Online scholars. We will also host a family orientation on August 19th for parents and caretakers accompanying you to move-in.
